Before purchasing, it is important to know that there is an expiration date stamped on strap. Reasoning: The strap material is PVC and it can degrade when exposed to UV (sunlight). PVC UV degradation isually brown so may not show up on a brownish black handle. Since there is no way to control exposure at the ender level, there is an expiration date** . To have your strap last longer than expiration date, do not leave in sunlight, or in wet weather. Store in a cool, dry place.
